A fully supported version of the MPE/iX Software Developer's Kit (SDK) for the Java 2 Platform, version 1.2.2 is now available for download. Java will run on MPE/iX 6.5, 6.0 or 5.5. If you have not previously installed Java on this system, you may find that certain POSIX libraries are missing. This will typically show up as unresolved externals when trying to run Java. If you have this problem, download the LIBS.hp3000 script below and run it on your system to create the necessary libraries. Please report any problems found to the Response Center.
