The Secure Web Console (SWC) is built into the GSP processor on the PA-8700 N-Class and A-Class servers. The SWC can be used with either Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Internet browsers. Once the GSP LAN console access has been configured with the LC command, the SWC access can be enabled with the GSP EL command. When the EL command is entered, following the prompts will allow you to enable console access via telnet, SWC or both. To access the SWC from your Web browser, simply enter the IP resolved node name for the GSP LAN port in the address bar of your browser. For example, if the node name GSP1.hp.com is the full domain name resolved by a DNS server to the IP address assigned to the GSP/LAN port, then enter 'http://gsp1.hp.com' in the address bar to access the SWC.
