These systems an address consisting of the bus converter number, the device adapter number, and the device address, and some SCSI devices are supported.

Bus Converters

To configure bus converter: 

    io> ap 1 PAT_IOA_BC
    io> ap 1/0 id=PAT_PCI_BC
    io> ap 1/0/0 id=PCI_DEVICE

Device Adapter

To configure a device adapter with an address of 3 to the channel adapter module identifier: 

    io> ap 1/0/0/0 id=A5150A
where nnnnn is a device adapter identifier such as HP28616A.

SCSI Devices

To configure a SCSI device you must use the word PSEUDO as the identifier: 

    io> ap 1/0/0/0.6 id=PSEUDO
    io> adev 14 1/0/0/0.6.0 ST39103LC class=(DISC,SPOOL)
