TermDSM (Terminal Online Diagnostic/Support Monitor) is a utility program for host-based management that provides various diagnostic services for terminal and serial printer connections on systems of the HP 3000 Series 900 computer family. It is patterned after the MPE V utility of the same name. Typically, TermDSM is used when a problem is suspected with one or more terminals, printers, or other serial devices; the problem can be related to hardware or software.

The purpose of TermDSM is to gather information on software problems and isolate and correct problems with the hardware. TermDSM can also be used to test hardware connections between devices and the DTC. The primary difference between MPE V TermDSM and MPE/iX TermDSM results from the different hardware used between the two families of HP 3000 computers.
