Installation Instructions

You won't have to shrink or enlarge your favorite photographs to your current screen settings. Elegance will do that for you. However, we do recommend, if you have the option available, to create your images at 1024 x 768, in landscape mode. Elegance uses QCPhoto's proprietary image reduction and enlargement algorithms to fit your images to your screen size. The result is that you will not be able to tell the difference between the original and the displayed image.

For your convenience, in order to get you started using your Elegance screensaver and to tweak your imagination a bit, we've created several sets of images for you to download. The image sets are zipped self-extracting files. You may install them anywhere on your machine that you wish, but they are primed to install at the C:\ root:
Hubble Images
(2 MB, 26 images) A variety of images were created by the Space Science Telescope Institute to be distributed as wallpapers. When combined into a single image folder, they create a screen saver set that certainly engenders a sense of awe.
