DBEFiles and log files have logical names which
conform to the rules for ALLBASE/SQL basic names. DBEFile and log
file names are stored in the system catalog.
In addition to logical names, the physical DBEFiles and log
files are referred to in the SQL syntax by system file
names. These names follow HP-UX file naming conventions.
If an absolute path name is not specified, ALLBASE/SQL presumes
the name specified is relative to the DBECon file directory. System
file names are always enclosed in single quotation marks in SQL
commands. Any reference to these files in an SQL command cannot
exceed 44 characters, including the file name and slashes.
