DESCRIPTION
trunc()
rounds its argument to the integral value, in floating-point format,
nearest to but no larger in magnitude than the argument.
The ISO/ANSI C committee has approved the
trunc()
function for inclusion in the C9X draft standard.
To use this function, compile either with the default
-Ae
option or with the
-Aa
and
-D_HPUX_SOURCE
options. Make sure your program includes
<math.h>.
Link in the math library by specifying
-lm
on the compiler or linker command line.
RETURN VALUE
The
trunc()
function returns the truncated integral value.
ERRORS
No errors are defined.
