Chapter 3  Monitoring Available Disk Space With DISKTRAK 

The new DISKTRAK utility monitors the amount of permanent disk space in
use on all mounted volumes.

When a volumeset reaches the specified threshold of permanent disk space
in use, an event is sent to the Action Summary report and the console.
You can set the threshold for the percent of permanent disk space in use
through PSCONFIG.

To use this feature, you must run PSCONFIG to enable DISKTRAK.


CAUTION  For the disk space calculation to be accurate, you must 
         configure the same values for the permanent and transient disk
         space on each volumeset member (LDEV).
