Report Descriptions
Action Summary Report
The "Action Summary Report" (Figure 6-2) lists the following results of
the HP Predictive Support analysis of the system:
* Normal events: messages resulting from raw events collected by
the utilities.
* Internal events: messages that report an internal condition of
the HP Predictive Support software.
* Datacomm transfers: messages regarding the successful or
unsuccessful transfer of a file.
* Code word status: messages regarding any problem or feedback
while generating contract code words at the HP Response Center.
Each of the messages are also tagged:
* INFORMATIONAL messages which require no action.
* WARNING messages which recommend that action be taken.
* INFORMATIONAL (RC) and WARNING (RC) messages which are sent to the
HP Response Center.
The messages are presented as follows:
* Reverse chronological order, with messages from the most recent HP
Predictive Support run listed first.
* Serially with interleaved run breaks of a blank line followed by
the date and time an HP Predictive Support run was started.
* Each message is preceded with a header, which includes the message
tag, event time and date of the message followed by text line(s).
Multiple records in the Action Summary file may amount to one
logical message. In this case, the logical message has a single
header line followed by multiple text lines.
