Open Remote Command
The Open Remote command appears under the File menu.

The Open Remote command opens an HP LaserRX/MPE logfile that resides on
an HP 3000 under the MPE file system.
Opening a remote logfile makes it available for the Draw Graphs command.
You must be connected to the HP 3000 on which the logfile resides before
you can use the Open Remote command. Open Remote is dimmed if you are
not connected to an HP 3000 through HP LaserRX/MPE.
When you select Open Remote command, the following Open Remote dialog box
appears.

* Filename.
RXLOG.SCOPE.SYS, the default output file name used by the EXTRACT
program, is supplied as the default in the Filename box. You can
use this box to type in the name of either a remote raw or a
remote extracted logfile.
Text can be scrolled in the Filename box.
* To open an extracted logfile, enter the name of any logfile
created with the HP LaserRX/MPE EXTRACT program.
* To open the HP LaserRX/MPE raw logfiles, enter LOGGLOB.
* Host.
The names of any HP 3000s to which you are connected are displayed
here. You can be connected to up to five systems during a session
of HP LaserRX/MPE. Click on the name of the host system whose
logfile you wish to open.
* Logfile Info.
Click on the Logfile Info button to find out more information
about a logfile highlighted in the Filename box.
