Figure 10-14. Command File Option The Command File option specifies the name of a basic serial command file containing commands that can connect you with or disconnect you from an HP 3000. You can use it to specify relatively sophisticated connection and disconnection sequences. You have the following options within the Command File option box: * Command File. Fill in the Command File box by typing the fully qualified basic serial command file name. The basic serial command file must be written outside of HP LaserRX/MPE before you enter the program. Alternately, locate and select a command file with the Files and Directories list boxes. Only files with the .CMD extension are listed. * Password. If the command file is protected with a password, you can enter a default password. You can use the BSCV utility to encrypt passwords in basic serial command files. * Files. The Files list box lists the files in the current directory with a .CMD extension (the default extension for command files). Clicking a file selects it; the file name will appear in the Command File box. * Directories. The Directory list box contains disc drives and directory names. When you double-click on a name, it becomes the current disc drive or directory and the Files list box is updated.
