Printing Graphs and Tables
You must first display a graph or table to be able to print it.
You print graphs or tables one at a time.
To Print a Graph or Table
1. Display the graph or table you wish to print.
2. Open the File menu and select Print.
The following dialog box appears:
Figure 7-4. Print Dialog Box
3. Click OK.
The Print dialog box disappears, and the arrow changes to a cross
pointer.
4. Select the graph or table by positioning the cross pointer on it
and pressing the mouse button.
When HP LaserRX/MPE starts the printing task, the Cancel Printing
dialog box is displayed.
If the Microsoft Windows Print Manager is active, HP LaserRX/MPE sends
print data to it; otherwise, print data is sent directly to the printer
port.
To cancel the print command, click cancel, or double-click the Cancel
Printing control box.
The Cancel Printing dialog box disappears when HP LaserRX/MPE is done
transferring data or when the Print command has been canceled.
Once the Cancel Printing dialog box disappears the cross pointer will
change back to an arrow and you can continue with other HP LaserRX/MPE
functions.
Designating Printers
You define and designate printers and plotters using the Microsoft
Windows Control Panel.
When you designate a printer or plotter, you can print your information
in one of two page-orientation modes:
* Portrait: Tabular columns print the same on the page as they
appear in the window. The number of rows fill the entire page.
In general, use the portrait mode to print tables.
* Landscape: More tabular columns print on the page than appear in
the window. In general, use the landscape mode to print graphs.
