Automatic Disconnection 

You can use the Auto Disconnect option on the Options dialog box to have
HP LaserRX/MPE automatically disconnect your PC serially from the host HP
3000.

Use the Options dialog box as follows:

   *   Enable Auto Disconnect.

       Click on the selection box to enable Auto Disconnect.  A check
       mark appears in the box indicating the option is enabled.  (Click
       on a selection box again to disable an option.  The check mark
       disappears.)

   *   Click  Save to use these settings for this HP LaserRX/MPE session
       and save them as defaults for future sessions.

   *   Click  OK to use these settings for this HP LaserRX/MPE session
       only.

If the Auto Disconnect option is enabled when you exit HP LaserRX/MPE,
the program can automatically disconnect you from an HP 3000 by
initiating the default Serial Disconnect configuration.

You set the default serial disconnection through the Configure Serial
Disconnect command.  See "To Set Serial Disconnect Defaults"  in this
chapter.
