EXPANDDIR 

Increases the capacity of a network directory file.

Syntax 

EXPANDDIR numrecs

Parameters 

numrecs               The number of additional records to be added to the
                      directory.  The value must be from 0 through 32767.

Description 

EXPANDDIR increases the capacity of the currently opened directory file
to allow additional entries to be added.  Each entry in the directory
requires one record, plus one for each network address referenced in the
entry.


NOTE  You can use the EXPANDDIR command only if you have exclusive access
      to the network directory.  Therefore, the network transport must be
      shut down.  In addition, to enter this command you must be logged
      onto the same account where the directory file resides.


Example 

To increase the current directory file by 500 records:

NMMGR>EXPANDDIR 500
