Chapter 2  Implementing DeskMon 

This chapter explains how to implement DeskMon to monitor an HP
DeskManager network.  It contains four sections:

Network Map          The first step is draw a map of your local HP
                     DeskManager network.

Recommended Checks   You can then decide which checks to make with
                     DeskMon.

Reporting            You need to decide where the reports will be sent.

Configuring DeskMon  You can then configure DeskMon using the DeskMon
                     Configurator.

After reading this chapter you will be able to set up DeskMon using the
remaining chapters of this manual for reference.
