Resource 3000 works collaboratively with your company and
the appropriate software and hardware installation vendor(s) to perform
Project Management Services for installation and upgrade projects.
R3K's Professional Services division closely examines the upgrade
and installation process with regard to both hardware and software. The
goal of R3K's involvement is to reduce the production impact and assist
in a smooth migration of technology.
R3K will manage the significant event in the following ways:
· Remote Planning Review - Conversations to develop and guide
your staff in project management of the upgrade, installation and transition.
· Remote Project Management - Creation of all change control
documentation outlining the description of the change, other
documentation required, the change schedule, go/no-go decision points,
test plan, back-out plan, system preparation, event checklist, testing
checklist, event cleanup and validation, and the return to production
steps. R3K's Professional Services division will also create system
installation diagrams, a project plan and schedule in Microsoft Project,
and participate in communication and coordination with appropriate
hardware installation service providers.
· Installation design, configuration, and planning documentation
- R3K's Professional Services division will work with the Significant
Event Management team to design and configure the software or hardware
for installation or upgrade where appropriate.
· On-site Project Management - R3K's Professional Services
division will provide on-site project management for the implementation
of the software and hardware installation and upgrade planning meetings
prior to the changes and the actual installation management.
System Management Assistance is a multi-phased project by its very
nature. The project remains active until the last change control window
has passed, the internal and external customers are satisfied and the
final documentation is complete.
