It's company policy at Cardinal Aluminum
to recommend products and services to other users that we've found to be
useful or particularly helpful. But in the case of QueryCalc, it is more
than just a policy. It is an honor to recommend your product and
your company to others.
It is a little surprising that for a manufacturing company the size of
Cardinal that we only have two people in data processing, and neither
one of us are true data processing types.
QueryCalc is a good part of the reason why we can run our company and
our 957 so efficiently. We can write just about any type of report in
just a few minutes – or a few hours at the most. We have looked at other
report writers and, in my opinion, QueryCalc is far ahead of the rest.
Not only because of what it can do in terms of writing a report, but for
all of the other things that it can do in terms of support of our
operation. The flexibility to massage the data you get from the
databases in the mannerthat you need it is simply unmatched.
There are so many advertisements that I get now for report writers and
interfaces to download data into PCs that I just throw away. I'm just
not interested. There hasn't been anything that we haven't been able to
do with QueryCalc.
There's some really quite critical information that people rely on here
that we just wouldn't have without the vehicle of QueryCalc. QueryCalc
has been one of the greatest enhancements to productivity that we have
at Cardinal, not just to the HP3000 but the company as a whole. It's
hard to put in words how much we have come to depend on QueryCalc. I
wouldn't trade it for anything.
