Consult the appropriate manuals for installation procedures
for non-HP software products.
Problems can occur if you install third-party products on your system and
rename system files to run the software. Do not use the SYSFILE>
RSPROG command in the SYSGEN utility to rename HP-supplied MPE/iX
system files. A renamed system file can corrupt your system during an update.
Use the SHOW command in SYSFILE to ensure that all HP-supplied
MPE/iX system files retain their original names. In the SHOW command
output, system file names in both columns should be identical. If they do not
match, rename the files in the second column to the file names in the first
column or use file equations to do so.
