- System Requirements
HAFO requires no subsystem product installation. It is an enhancement
to MPE/iX and is installed via an Operating System patch on MPE 6.5.
Use the installation process of the release vehicle to install
the patch, using the Read Before Installing document that comes
with the release.
With correct installation, HAFO becomes active, requiring only HAFO
configuration. The HAFO configuration commands are available in SYSGEN. The
HASTAT command will generate a HAFO status report for each configured
HAFO ldev.
Device configuration using the SYSGEN commands is documented in
Chapter 4 "Configuration" The HASTAT HAFO status report
is documented in the Chapter 5 "Monitoring Status".
