System Startup Procedure

The following procedure is an example of what to enter and what it looks like to start a system. To initiate the startup process enter:

CTRLB

NOTE: If you have a 99X system, you must transfer to the service processor before you reset the system.
   CM> SP

If you have a 9X8LX or 9X8RX system, a PDC screen is displayed. Type BO to boot from the primary path.

NOTE: Currently there is no autoexecute file available; therefore, you must ignore the statement Cannot find an auto-execute file. AUTOBOOT ABORTED. This does not present any problems; just continue with the START commnand in ISL.
