This sequence, unlike the previous four, begins at the MPE prompt. (Presumably, the system is up and running before it is shut down.) Refer to Chapter 9 “Halting System Activity” for information on the steps involved in shutting down the system.

The following represents a shutdown sequence for Series 950 through Series 980 systems received at the console. Sequences from other installations may vary.
