Table of Contents Each application which accesses User Logging should have a recovery program written by the user. The recovery program should read the formatted data in the logfile and apply it to a backup copy of the data structures belonging to the application. The recovery program can then be run in case of a system failure or program abort to recover the transactions that had fully completed before the problem occurred. |
