DESCRIPTION
The following functions return the information indicated:
- getuid()
Real-user-ID
of the calling process.
- geteuid()
Effective-user-ID
of the calling process.
- getgid()
Real-group-ID
of the calling process.
- getegid()
Effective-group-ID
of the calling process.
No means is available for ascertaining the saved-user-ID
or saved-group-ID
of a process.
