Configuring HP Predictive Support
You need to configure HP Predictive Support at the Predictive Gateway
Node if it is an HP 3000, and at the satellite node(s) to transfer data
through a network instead of a modem.
Initial Configuration
If this is the first time that HP Predictive Support is being configured
on the system, you will be placed in the psconfig required fields mode.
You will be prompted as follows:
Type file transfer method (M=Modem; N=Network) or // to cancel: Type N
Type RC node name or // to Type the name (nodename.domain.org) of
cancel: the HP Response Center Node.
In our example, this is predict.x25.hp.
Update
If HP Predictive Support is already configured on the system,
1. From the psconfig Main Menu: Type 4 2 or configure transfer.
2. From the Configure Predictive menu: Type 2 or transfer.
This displays the Configure Transfer Information menu:

1. Type 1.
2. Type n in response to the Type file transfer method (M=Modem;
N=Network) or // to cancel: prompt.
3. Type the name (nodename.domain.org) of the HP Response Center Node
in response to the Type RC node name or // to cancel: prompt.
In our example, this is predict.x25.hp.
