HP LaserRX/MPE User's Manual: Analysis Software
Print Command
The Print command appears under the File menu.
Figure 10-52. Print Command
Use the Print command to print HP LaserRX/MPE graphs or tabular data on a
currently designated printer or plotter.
To print a graph or table, you must first display it. If you have more
than one graph or table on the screen, you print them one at a time.
Printers and plotters can be designated through the Microsoft Windows
Control Panel.
The Print command is dimmed if no HP LaserRX/MPE graphs have been drawn.
When you select the Print command, HP LaserRX/MPE displays the following
Print dialog box.
Figure 10-53. Print Dialog Box
When you Click OK, the dialog box disappears and the arrow changes to a
cross pointer. When you position the cross pointer over a graph or table
and click, one of the following events takes place:
* If the Microsoft Windows Print Manager is active, HP LaserRX/MPE
sends print data to it.
* If the Print Manager is not active, print data is sent directly to
the printer port.
While the print data is being sent, a Cancel Printing dialog box appears.
Click Cancel or double-click the control box on the Cancel Printing
dialog box to terminate the Print command.
Once the Cancel Printing dialog box disappears and the arrow reappears,
you can continue with other HP LaserRX/MPE functions. At this time, the
only way to cancel printing is through the Windows Print Manager (if the
print data was sent to the Windows Print Manager).
