New Terms EXTRACT. An HP LaserRX/MPE program on the HP 3000 used to create logfiles containing selected performance data for specific analysis needs. Extracted logfile. An HP LaserRX/MPE performance logfile created by EXTRACT. It contains user-selected date ranges and types of data. An extracted logfile is created by extracting data from a raw logfile or another extracted logfile. Only extracted logfiles can be downloaded to the PC. Host. The HP 3000 where the logfiles you want to access are located. Local logfile. An HP LaserRX/MPE extracted logfile that resides on a disc known to MS-DOS. It must be a logfile extracted on the HP 3000 and transferred to the PC. Raw logfile. An HP LaserRX/MPE performance logfile on the HP 3000 that is created by the HP LaserRX/MPE SCOPE(XL) data collection program. Remote logfile. An HP LaserRX/MPE logfile that resides on an HP 3000--remote from the PC. It can be either a raw or an extracted logfile.
