HP3000/iX Network Planning and Configuration Guide

To Access the Logging Configuration Screens 

Follow the steps below to reach the logging configuration screens:

Steps 

   1.  Run NMMGR. The Open Configuration/Directry File screen is
       displayed.

   2.  Enter the configuration file name (NMCONFIG.PUB.SYS) and press the
       [Open Config] function key.  The Main screen is displayed.

   3.  Press the [NS] function key.  The NS Configuration screen is
       displayed.

   4.  Press either the [Guided Config] or the [Unguided Config] function
       key.

   5.  Press the [Modify Logging] function key if you are in guided
       configuration or the [Go To Logging] function key if you are in
       unguided configuration.  The first of five logging configuration
       screens is displayed.


NOTE  HP recommends that you use the default logging configuration values
      unless your HP representative tells you otherwise.  Not using the
      recommended default values may result in the degradation of system
      performance.
