HP DeskManager User Reference Guide

ACKNOWLEDGE

Abbreviation: ACK

Sets an acknowledgment level on a reply, or on a message you are sending
or forwarding, and are about to mail.
See "Tracking Messages" .

     REPLY 1 > ACKNOWLEDGE

     MESSAGE 2 > ACK 4

The acknowledgement levels are:

       1 - transmitted

       2 - received

       3 - delivered

       4 - read

       5 - answered

       6 - forms collection

ACK KEEP keeps a copy of a message in your Pending Tray until you delete
it. For example:

MESSAGE > ACK 4 KEEP Return

If you are sending a routed message, then using ACK KEEP (without an
acknowledgment level) will put the routed message in your Pending Tray so
that you can keep track of its progress.

ACK ALL sets an acknowledgement on all categories of a Distribution List.

The ACKNOWLEDGE command can be used in the following areas of HP Desk:
Message.
