Using HP Desk Commands 

To use function keys: 

Some commands will be displayed on the function keys.  If the command you
want to use is already displayed on a function key, you can save time by
pressing the key instead of typing the command.

To use HP Desk commands: 

   *   HP Desk responds to commands you type in at prompts.  After typing
       a command you must always press Return 

   *   In most cases, commands can be abbreviated to one, two or three
       letters.  For example, instead of typing READ, you could simply
       type R. The golden rule is that you need to type enough characters
       to distinguish one command from another, for example SH for SHARE
       and SP for SPELL. See Chapter 11  Command Summary for details
       of all the abbreviations you can use.

   *   Type ?  Return to see a list of commands available in your current
       area.
