Choosing an Editor 

HP Desk is supplied with a screen mode editor.  You can change the Edit
and Create Options menu so that:

   *   When you create or edit an item HP Desk takes you straight into
       the editor you prefer.

   *   You can use an alternative pair of characters to the original //
       to show you have finished creating a Text item.

To choose an editor: 

   1.  Type PROFILE Return at any HP Desk prompt.

   2.  Press  Next Options until HP Desk displays the Edit and Create
       Options menu.

   3.  Change any responses you want to, using the Tab key to move from
       field to field.

   4.  Press  Enter to save your changes menu.

   5.  Press  Save Profile to return to where you were.
