Creating ToDo Prompts 

You can organize your day-to-day work by creating a list of things ToDo
in your electronic Calendar.  You can give each task a priority of 1
(high) to 9 (low), * (task started) or X (task complete).

To create a ToDo prompt in your Calendar: 

   1.  At the Calendar date prompt type:

            TODO Return 

       or

            CREATE TODO Return 

   2.  At the Subject :  prompt type what it is you have to do and press
       Return.

   3.  At the priority prompt type a number between 1 (highest priority)
       and 9 (lowest priority) and then press Return 

To make a message into a ToDo prompt: 

You can make a message you are sending or one that you have received into
a ToDo item.

   *   When you have composed a message type TODO Return at the MESSAGE >
       prompt, and then give date and priority details.  For example:

            MESSAGE > TODO Return 
            Date : today Return 
            Priority : 1 Return 

   *   Type MOVE followed by the number or subject of a message you have
       received, and press Return.  HP Desk then prompts for details.
       For example:

            Intray > MOVE 1 TO CALENDAR Return 
            Appointment or ToDo > TODO Return 
            Date : today Return 
            Priority : 1 Return 

To create a one day ToDo prompt: 

   1.  Type TODO Return at the Calendar prompt.

   2.  Type a subject and press Return 

   3.  Type X Return at the Priority:  prompt.

To show you've started work on a ToDo task: 

   1.  At the Calendar prompt type EDIT PRIORITY followed by the entry
       number, then press Return For example:

            4/4/91 > EDIT PRIORITY 1 Return 

   2.  Type * Return at the Priority:  prompt.

To show you've completed a ToDo task: 

   1.  At the Calendar prompt type EDIT PRIORITY followed by the entry
       number.  For example:

            EDIT PRIORITY 1 Return 

   2.  Type X Return at the Priority:  prompt.

HP Desk does not automatically delete completed ToDos.

       Further Information 

   *   If you don't want HP Desk to automatically update your ToDo list
       you can use the PROFILE command.  See "Customizing Your Calendar"
       .
