HP DeskManager User Reference Guide

CREATE 

Abbreviation:  CR

Allows you to create HP Desk items.  When you just type CREATE HP Desk
creates whatever item is normal for where you are; folders in the Filing
Cabinet, appointments in the Calendar and Distribution Lists in the List
Area.
See "Creating Your Own Distribution Lists" , "Creating Folders" ,
"Making Appointments"  and all of Chapter 6 .

Type CREATE in the Work Area, an open message or package, and HP Desk
prompts for the type of item to be created.  Alternatively, type CREATE
followed by the type of item.

     Workarea > CREATE HPSLATE

     MESSAGE 4 > CR

     PACKAGE 2 > CREATE VISICALC

The CREATE command can be used in the following areas of HP Desk:  Out
Tray, Work Area, List Area, Filing Cabinet, Message, Folder, Package.
