Message PC Network not loaded. (VW5004)
Cause You have not loaded the PC networking software.
Action Exit the VPLUS/Windows presentation server and Microsoft
Windows. Load the networking software and restart.

Message Internal error - invalid socket type. Please report.
(VW5005)
Cause This error should not normally occur and is intended
only for HP internal use. However, abnormal
environmental hardware or software problems can generate
this error.
Action Reboot your PC and reload the PC networking software.
If the problem persists after rebooting the PC more than
once, warmstart the HP 3000 and restart the LAN. If the
problem still occurs, check the PC and LAN hardware.
Continuance of this problem indicates abnormal hardware
or software. Note the error number and contact your
Hewlett-Packard support representative.

your PC and reload the PC networking software. If the
problem persists, note the error number and contact your
Hewlett-Packard support representative.

Action Contact your system manager to verify that VPLUS/Windows

run the networking software.
Action Contact your system manager to adjust resource

be started.
Action Contact your system manager to determine causes

Cause This error should not normally occur and is intended
only for HP internal use. However, abnormal
environmental hardware or software problems can generate
this error.
Action Check the host name in the application options.
Check for any logon UDC prompts for the HP 3000 logon by
logging on via a terminal or emulator. If any prompts
exist, change the logon process to eliminate them.
If the above actions do not resolve the problem, reboot
your PC and reload the PC networking software. If the
problem persists after rebooting the PC more than once,
warmstart the HP 3000 and restart the LAN. If the
problem still occurs, check the PC and LAN hardware.
Continuance of this problem indicates abnormal hardware
or software. Note the error number and contact your
Hewlett-Packard support representative.

Cause The VPLUS/Windows application server could not start the
specified HP 3000 application.
Action Check the program name of the application in the
definition. If the program name is correct, HP 3000
environmental problems might have prevented the program

Cause The VPLUS/Windows application server created the HP 3000
application process, but was unable to activate the

Cause The configuration file can contain only 50 applications.
Action Delete a less frequently used application before adding
a new one, or create a new configuration file. The
presentation server creates a new configuration file if

Cause The specified application does not exist in the
configuration file.
Action Check the application name entered for a spelling error.

in an application name.
