END 

Terminates a TOOLSET/XL function or activity.

Syntax 

              [ A[LL]     ]
              [ E[DIT]    ]
              [ L[ISTING] ]
     EN[D]    [ RE[AD]    ]
              [ RU[N]     ]
              [ C[OMPILE] ]

Parameters 

ALL              Terminates all ongoing TOOLSET/XL activities:  editing,
                 listing, reading, running and compilation.  TOOLSET/XL
                 will prompt you before terminating the compilation.

EDIT             Terminates editing of the current edit file.

LISTING          Terminates reading of the current listing file.

READ             Terminates reading of the current file.

RUN              Terminates the running of the current program file.

COMPILE          Terminates the compilation.  This command may leave the
                 source file locked.  See discussion in Chapter 7.

Description 

When END is entered, TOOLSET/XL closes all associated files.  If you use
the All parameter when a compile is active, you will be asked if you want
to terminate the compile.  When listed individually, the activities will
terminate without query.

Example 

     >>END ALL

     -->END OF PROGRAM.

     -->EDIT FILE CLOSED.
