HPTOOLSET XL Reference Manual

Edit Function Key 

Is the same as entering the EDIT command without parameters.  If
TOOLSET/XL cannot determine which file you want to edit from your current
environment, you will be prompted for a filename.  In the Show Files and
Show Source menus, a filename may be selected by typing any character in
the box next to it.
