Native Mode Spooler Reference Manual

Using the HPBROWSE Utility

If you want only to view the spool file, you may use the HPBROWSE
utility, if it is available on your system. HPBROWSE is not part of the
fundamental operating system (FOS). Refer to HP Browse/XL User's Guide
(36384-90001).

To use HPBROWSE, enter this:

     HPBROWSE filename

HPBROWSE employs softkeys to enter commands. It permits string searching
and handles long lines by permitting you to scroll left or right to view
the text.

Now that you have tried a few tasks with spool files, you may want more
detailed information. Read chapter 3 for more complete task information.
Look at chapter 4 or the MPE/iX Commands Reference Manual Volumes 1 and 2
(32650-90003 and 32650-90364) for syntax information for the spooler
commands.
