Chapter 7 Getting System Administration Information MPE/iX provides a number of commands that allow you to obtain system administration information. This information is used to determine how much a user, group, or account is charged for use of the system. A related function is system logging. This system feature enables you to record use of system resources on a job or session basis. System logging is discussed in chapter 8. The DISCFREE utility can provide information that is useful for managing system resources efficiently. A brief discussion is included in this chapter.
