VALUE Clause 

SDCDE generates the VALUE clause if a literal value exists for the
default attribute.

Syntax 

     VALUE literal 

Parameters 

literal          The value of the default attribute.

Description 

You cannot use the VALUE clause in a sub-element of a group with a
REDEFINES clause or in a sub-element of a group with an OCCURS clause.
You can use the VALUE clause at the elementary level only.
