Silhouette Reference Manual

>START 

The >START command begins Silhouette processing based on the
specifications in the current or specified configuration file.

SYNTAX 

     >START [configfile]

PARAMETERS 

configfile          he name of configuration file for which processing will begin.

DISCUSSION 

If the >START command is issued after the creation of a new log cycle,
ensure that the SAVE file is purged from the secondary system and backup
the database on that system.  See "Creating a New User Logging Cycle" in
Chapter 4.

EXAMPLE 

The following example shows the dialog you will see when you issue a
>START command.

     >START
     Please be patient, this may take a minute or two to execute. (MPMSG 80)
     #J65
     CP files/lines open: Number of DS lines opened = 1. (RQMSG 34)
     The Silhouette system was started successfully. (MPMSG 55)
     >
