The >RESUME command re-activates duplication after a backup has been
completed.

SYNTAX

     >RESUME

DISCUSSION

The >RESUME command re-activates Silhouette on the secondary system.
Duplication continues where it left off when the >BACKUP command was
issued.

NOTE Issuing the >RESUME command cancels a >STOP or >BACKUP command waiting for a quiet period.
EXAMPLE The following example shows resuming duplication on the secondary system following a backup. The STATUS report shows that the secondary system logfile has been brought up-to-date with the logfile on the primary system. >BACKUP Backup reqst to CP: A Back-up request is already pending. >RESUME Tell RP to resume: Successful execution of function / request. >STATUS ============== S i l h o u e t t e S T A T U S ================ 1:37:55 * PRIMARY SECONDARY - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - + - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - LOGFILE record # = 4675 (001) | LOGFILE record # = 4675 (001) time = 1:34:54 | time = 1:34:54 | outstanding= 0 recs | FLAGS max ever = 4674 recs | | SENT logical = 4675 recs | DATABASE opens = 0 paths physical = 198 blocks | transact. = 0 outst. | Open mode = 4 UNLOCK | [ current status] | [ current status ] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - + - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - LINES OPEN : MPEXL950 =========================================================================== > ADDITIONAL DISCUSSION See Chapter 3.
