Environmental Requirements
The following items are environmental requirements for X.21.
* The Public Data Network configuration database must be created and
then the X.21 configuration procedures should be followed in the
network database configuration utility program NETCONF.PUB.SYS (see
following section).
* An HP 3000 that supports RJE/V.
* An INP model 30020A/B (it is not supported on other communications
controllers).
* An X.21 external interface cable is required to meet ISO 4903, CCITT
X.24 and X.21 specifications. For Series II and III this is an HP
30222H. For Series 30, 33, 44 and 64 this is an HP 30221H.
* The INP driver, CSDBSC21, which supports X.21 point-to-point BSC
protocol.
* The X.21 message catalog, X21MSG.PUB.SYS, must be present.
* CS version 5.02 or later, which supports selection signals as
described in the #RJLINE command.
* A Public Data Network configuration database.
