Testing Your Program The Transaction File Editor which is described in Chapter 7 of this manual can be used to aid the testing of your programs. For example, if the program sets up a Transaction File you can use the Transaction File Editor to examine and validate the file before passing it to HP Desk. If your program receives Transaction Files from HP Desk, you can use the Transaction File Editor either to see what HP Desk will be passing to your program, or to create some test Transaction Files to see if your program can cope with them.
