Running Your Program Any user who runs a program which uses the Intrinsics must have SF (Save File) capability. To support HPDGateReceive, extra functionality is required in HP Desk, particularly in the Transport Router program. To minimize the overhead to users who do not run the Gateway Intrinsics this extra functionality can be switched on and off by creating and deleting a file called INTRNFLG.MAILDB.HPOFFICE. This file does not need to contain any records. Once a gateway application is ready to be tested, INTRNFLG.MAILDB.HPOFFICE should be created and then left permanently in the HPOFFICE account. When this file is created, it does not have any affect until the first MAILON, MAILMAN or MAILGATEINTON after the next MAILSHUTDOWN.
