Monitoring Resources Through Logfiles
The Logfile Reader

• Logfiles can be produced by an MPE utility run as part of a script.

• The script must reformatted the output from the utility to produce one line of text per event or resource.

• A job can send output to a disk file. This can be designated as a logfile also.
