If you have installed or updated to version C.60.00 of MPE/iX, use the
following steps to verify that the Telnet software exists on your system:
If necessary, log on the system as MANAGER.SYS.
Run NMMAINT to verify that you have successfully
installed the Telnet files.

You will see information similar to the following.

Check the final line of the display to make sure there are no
error messages such as a module is missing or there is a version
mismatch. For example:
Version levels differ in one or more modules. (NMERR 103)

Issue a LISTGROUP command for ARPA.SYS to verify
that its capabilities are PM, PH, IA, and BA.
Issue a LISTF command for the Telnet files in
ARPA.SYS to verify that ANY (anyone) can read
TELNTDOC.ARPA.SYS and that ANY (anyone) can read and execute
TELNET.ARPA.SYS. Enter:
