Your system may have additional software products that require special set up attention. You must do this from MANAGER.SYS. To determine if your system has additional products, follow these steps:

  1. To see if you are in MANAGER.SYS, type:

    : SHOWME Return

       USER: #S9749, MANAGER.SYS, PUB

       RELEASE: v.uu.ff MPE/iX HP31900 v.uu.ff

       CURRENT: Day, Month, Year, Time

       LOGON: Day, Month, Year, Time

CPU SECONDS: 2	CONNECT MINUTES: 1

       $STDIN LDEV: 32	$STDLIST LDEV: 32

Your screen displays information about your logon identity on the first line to let you know if you are currently in MANAGER.SYS.

If you are not in MANAGER.SYS, use the HELLO command to log on as MANAGER.SYS.

       :HELLO MANAGER.SYS Return

  2. At the system prompt (:), enter the LISTFILE command to find out if the file SPNAMES exists on your system.

       :LISTFILE SPNAMES Return

If no file is found, you have not purchased any of the software that requires special set up attention, and you can proceed to the next chapter.

  3. If a file is found, enter the following command to display the contents of the file to the screen. Write down the names of these products.

       :PRINT SPNAMES Return
