NMMGRVER
generates a backup copy of you old configuration file under file
name NMBACKn,
(where n starts
with A, then B, C, and so on, for multiple backup copies). It also
creates a temporary file Nxxxx,
that is purged upon completion of NMMGRVER
conversion.
After converting the network configuration file with NMMGRVER,
you then run NMMGR if needed to modify the DTS subsystem to fit
your actual hardware configuration. Follow the steps described in
Chapter 5 “Configuring Serial Devices (for
Host-Based Management)” for modifying
you network configuration file.
