be specified in order for the AS/400 to communicate with SNA IMF on
the HP 3000.

between the AS/400 and the HP 3000.
- ROLE
(Data link role) Must be
*PRI (data link role for the AS/400).
- MAXFRAME
(Maximum frame size) Must match the MAX
DATA value configured on the HP 3000 SNA Node
Configuration: PU Data screen.
- LINESPEED
(Line speed) Must match the Transmission
Speed value configured on the HP 3000 SNA Node
Configuration: SDLC Link Data screen.

ID value configured on the HP 3000 SNA Node
Configuration: SDLC Link Data screen.
