SYNOPSIS
/usr/sbin/named-checkconf
[-t
directory]
[-v]

DESCRIPTION
named-checkconf
is a tool to check the syntax, but not semantics, of the configuration file
for
named.
Options
- -t directory
chroot
to
directory
so that
include
directives in the
configuration file are processed as if run by a similarly
chrooted
named.
- -v
Print the version of the
named-checkconf
program and exit.
Operand
- filename
The configuration file to be checked.
The default is
/etc/named.conf.
RETURN VALUE
named-checkconf
returns:
- 0
Success.
- 1
Errors are detected.
