This chapter describes Sendmail, the Internet Services mail routing utility provided on the HP-UX operating system. Sendmail relays incoming and outgoing mail messages to the appropriate programs for delivery and further routing. Sendmail allows you to send mail and to receive mail messages from other hosts on a local area network or through a gateway.
